A poem written at 2 am entitled “Solitaire”
Traveling on the same road
Over and over
When does it end?
The river runs deep
But has run dry
Though it rains hard.
Laying in the fields
Of poppy
Leave me hypnotized…
The hands of time
Merge into one
Where does this all go?
Sparks flew
Into the heavens
Iron turns to rust.
The young maiden
Sits and waits
For the spring harvest.
Now drink
From this chalice
The song of retribution.
love ur poem…i feel it..it’s familiar…ur not alone. I read some of ur love blogs…the one of u going to The Integration and the Giant Rock. I loved it, u had an abyss is what i like to call it..and awakening that no matter what the other person feels u feel it and ur in control of it..or atleast ur heart is. A change, a realization of where u are in life now…ur role, ur place.
I recently met a woman that truly is a perfect match for me, but the feelings weren’t reciprocal. She did truly like me and we got along better than any other cpl i have ever met, but she was still not over her ex. This is almost irrevelant in ur situ, but i would like to say that i have been through many long distance relationships and they are very hard, it’s painful…do u hold on or do u move on…i think only time and heart will tell. Time does cure all.
Back to your poem, i just felt almost obligated to write to you, i used to write poems and now after being in that river of life leading to who knows where, i just might start again. I have posted several blogs on my philosophy of life and love on my myspace, but have put them away in my folder of life on my desktop for no one to see anymore.
Back to the Integrations- i do believe in the self-healing powers of the mind/soul/body and the universes energy…positive energies and calmness. Have u read a book called The Four Agreements…look it up, it’s a great fast read, but good to keep around and read over and over when in need. Knowledge IS power if u know how to use it. I think LOVE is a lot more powerful if u truly know how to use it though.
Love is great, spread it, feel it, love ur-self first, the rest will come in time. It’s about being at the right place at the right time without forcing it.
It all falls in place in time…thats my belief.
