Say these affirmations in the morning in front of the mirror. Say each one of them with conviction. Keep doing these and by doing so, you are reprogramming your mental thought patterns. Your mental thought patterns are the key to your success and livelihood in life. When you focus on things that are good, things that uplift, and bring constant joy, then your subconscious will truly attract the best things in life. These sayings were given to me by a TV writer who I attracted into my life because of my desire for wisdom, empowerment, and clarity.

I woke up this morning and began to meditate. But first, I looked outside my window and just breathed in the beauty of nature. I felt that the day was extra special, feeling the late summer breeze flow across me.
So I began by doing my affirmations and then by radiating goodwill, peace, and love to everyone around me. I basically was just sitting there in the most comfortable papasan chair, filling the house with my positive energy. I felt really good.
I went back into my room and read the I Ching (a book of serious enlightenment). It told me how I needed to go on a journey or travel across the water. However, it mentioned that crossing the water also can mean moving on to a different mindset. So I took it as a mental journey that I should embark on. A few minutes later I heard my roommate in the kitchen. I went to see what he was doing and saw that he was just standing outside eating his bowl of cereal. I started chatting with him and the first thing on his mind was how the day seemed so different. A good different. And I acknowledged the fact completely. He also said he could sense something in the air (or was it that lovely late summer breeze) that just made this day unique. Finally, he told me he felt he needed to go somewhere…to travel. Wow. I was amazed by what he just said. Interestingly enough, the I Ching mentioned it to me too. Then and there I realized he tapped into my energy or vibe. We were thinking on the same plane. We both woke up thinking and feeling the same thing.
This unity empowered both of us.
Later, we found ourselves outside in our parking lot looking at the sky. We saw that it was raining, yet the sun was shining down on us. All of it seemed so magical. But then he pointed out into the distance toward the mountains. He asked me how often do I see those mountains. I told him never (because LA has poor air quality). Yet, today we saw those mountains clear as day.
We ultimately realized that seeing those mountains represented our state of mind–how our vision manifested itself in nature’s picturesque glory.
